Tuna can be cooked from frozen or from defrosted –
FROM FROZEN: Oven: remove all packaging and place the tuna in a lose foil parcel, bake for 25 mins at 190c. When done, check the Tuna is cooked in the centre, if not cover and put it back in the oven for a further 5 minutes and so on.
FROM DEFROSTED: Pan Fry: defrost the Tuna overnight in the fridge or for a few hours at room temperature. Remove all packaging. Place a little oil into a frying / large pan and heat the oil until medium hot, add the Tuna and leave it for 3-4 minutes, if the pan is hot enough it will give the Tuna some nice colour, then turn the Tuna over and cook for a further 3-4 minutes. The Tuna is great seared (just cooked at the edges) so you can cook a little less or a little more if desired. If you want it cooked all the way through try 5 minutes each side.
